Responsibilities
Represent the political and diplomatic interests of a specified country during NATO exercises by acting as the key liaison for political interactions. Provide expert insights on political situations to ensure scenario realism. Coordinate with national and international political representatives and offer strategic recommendations to the exercise control team. Participate primarily on-site during scheduled exercises, which last 5 to 15 working days, with potential remote work contingencies.
Qualifications
A university bachelor's degree is required. Candidates must have at least three years of experience within the last ten years in political decision-making roles at Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Defence levels, briefing senior governance leaders nationally or multinationally, and influencing strategic national policy. Previous service as an ambassador or defense attaché in an African country and NATO representation experience within the last decade are essential. Proficiency in business-level English is required. A valid national or NATO Secret security clearance is mandatory.
