Job summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Pre-Commissioning Engineer to independently handle subsea and pipeline pre-commissioning activities. The role involves preparing engineering documents, supporting project execution teams onshore and offshore, and contributing to tender and project delivery. Ideal candidates possess strong technical knowledge of pre-commissioning operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities
Develop and manage engineering procedures, task plans, and reports related to subsea and pipeline pre-commissioning, including flooding, cleaning, hydrotesting, flushing, leak testing, dewatering, and umbilical system tests. Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Provide technical support during execution phases both onshore and offshore. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients on equipment specifications, mobilization, operational readiness, and risk assessments. Support tender activities by preparing method statements, technical clarifications, man-hour estimates, and schedule inputs. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Marine, Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, or related engineering discipline. Between 2 and 12 years of experience in pre-commissioning or related subsea/pipeline engineering roles. Comprehensive understanding of pre-commissioning operations and industry standards. Experience in both project execution and tender environments is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently. Solid communication and collaboration skills. Offshore experience and previous leadership roles in engineering are advantageous. Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Norway without sponsorship. Subsea industry experience is mandatory.
