Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python frameworks like FastAPI or Flask. Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support mobile app features and fan engagement tools. Implement AI-powered functionalities by integrating APIs from providers such as OpenAI and Hugging Face. Manage asynchronous data flows and ensure reliable communication between services. Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability. Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT. Containerize applications with Docker and support deployment on cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional remote teams to deliver user-focused solutions aligned with project goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Python backend development with production-ready scalable applications. Strong knowledge of FastAPI or Flask and RESTful API design. Experience integrating AI and machine learning services via APIs, including OpenAI or Hugging Face. Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and data processing using JSON. Competence in designing and working with SQL and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience with Docker, cloud deployment, and CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Microsoft Azure. Understanding of application security, including authentication and authorization protocols. Experience with Node.js is beneficial but not required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, international team. Effective communication and teamwork skills with flexible coordination abilities. Willingness to complete a technical assessment as part of recruitment.
