An established software engineering team seeks an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance the quality and reliability of their applications. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated functional and regression test cases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feature quality before and after releases. Create and maintain end-to-end test scripts primarily using Playwright. Participate in sprint planning by providing insights on test coverage, risks, and acceptance criteria. Evaluate and support integration of browser and device testing platforms. Document and track bugs and test outcomes using collaboration tools. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to QA processes and testing standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years' experience in quality assurance or software testing, preferably within Agile or Scrum environments. Proficient in functional, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium). Strong programming skills for automated test development using JavaScript or TypeScript. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured and exposure to CI/CD pipelines is advantageous. Excellent communication skills suited for distributed teams, along with a detail-oriented and collaborative mindset. Experience with cross-browser/device testing and cloud testing platforms is beneficial but not mandatory.
