Job summary
Seeking a Senior Retail Project Lead to manage retail store projects including new store openings, relocations, refurbishments, and concept rollouts. The role involves ownership of the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with retail concepts to enhance the customer experience. Collaboration with multiple internal departments and external suppliers is essential, as is coaching other project team members.

Responsibilities
Lead retail store projects from initial briefing through planning, execution, handover, and close-out. Develop store layouts and space plans in line with retail concepts and product presentation guidelines. Manage project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and documentation while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. Collaborate closely with departments such as Category, Visual Merchandising, Space Management, Construction, and store teams. Provide guidance and possible staff leadership to other Project Leads and Support staff. Contribute to the development of project methodologies, templates, and store planning guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management with proven delivery of retail store projects end to end. Experience in store planning, space planning, layout design, and interior work, preferably within large-format retail environments. Proficiency in developing and interpreting store layouts using tools like AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp or Revit is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership skills and formal project management training such as PMP or PRINCE2. Strong organizational, hands-on approach, accountability, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Interest in sports and retail and possession of a class B driver’s license.
