Responsibilities
You will define and implement the architecture supporting AI-enhanced software development, encompassing developer tools, build and test workflows, source control, CI/CD, and internal platforms. Your duties include establishing technical standards for high-performance developer environments, designing AI tooling layers connecting engineers and automation systems, leading technical pilots to validate architecture approaches, measuring developer experience health through productivity metrics, driving adoption of new tools and standards across engineering teams, and contributing to the strategic growth and technical direction of the developer experience organization.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include extensive software engineering experience at senior levels with hands-on technical contributions, deep knowledge of build systems, test infrastructure, and local development environments across multiple programming languages, practical experience with AI-assisted development workflows and agent integration, strong technical written communication skills for standards and documentation, autonomy in prioritization and delivery of impactful improvements, and experience building and operating internal developer platforms with broad adoption. Additional desirable qualifications include knowledge of security, reliability, and compliance considerations in developer tooling, and contributions to open-source projects related to build systems or platform engineering.
