Responsibilities
The engineer is expected to design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance Golang microservices and frontend applications using React and TypeScript. Responsibilities include owning features from concept to production, contributing to technical strategy and architectural decisions, improving performance and observability of services, and enhancing team workflows via automation or new technologies. Collaboration with a team of technologists and various stakeholders is essential.
Qualifications
Candidates should have strong experience writing Golang services and backend web applications deployed in Docker, developing React/TypeScript frontends, and writing efficient SQL. Understanding clean code and language idioms in Go and TypeScript, performing code reviews, and establishing quality standards are required. Ability to learn new business domains, communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences, and a focus on continuous skills improvement are important. Familiarity with concurrent programming, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, AI integration, and related technologies is beneficial but not mandatory.
