Responsibilities
Lead development and management of key suppliers using advanced sourcing and commodity management techniques. Drive cost optimization initiatives including bidding, eAuctions, and spend analytics. Meet or exceed cost savings targets and oversee process improvements. Collaborate with transactional teams on purchase requests. Develop sourcing strategies aligned with market and technology trends. Manage full sourcing processes including bid strategy, RFQs, negotiations, approvals, and contract issuance while ensuring compliance. Handle commercial risk management with suppliers. Provide mentorship and support to junior buyers and contribute to team excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related fields. Minimum 5 years' experience in negotiating, sourcing, and contract management with complex procurement activities. Experience in direct purchasing is a plus. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and SAP. Strong English communication skills (C1 or above); additional European language is advantageous. Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities capable of managing multiple complex projects. Availability for occasional travel and to work from 3 PM to 12 AM.
