Job summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead and contribute to the full lifecycle of military simulation system deliveries. The role involves designing system architectures, developing requirements, leading integration and testing efforts, and collaborating closely with government stakeholders and internal teams. This position offers a hybrid work environment with some travel to customer sites, focusing on high-fidelity simulation and training applications within defense contexts.

Responsibilities
Lead development and execution of delivery orders for military simulation applications from concept through completion. Analyze and decompose systems-level requirements. Design system architectures ensuring subsystem integration. Develop and implement verification and validation plans. Coordinate milestone testing events and produce technical documentation per standards. Manage project teams to create operational and maintenance scenarios. Ensure compliance with technical performance and contractual requirements. Engage with customers and stakeholders as the primary technical interface. Organize integration, briefing, and planning events. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Over 10 years of systems engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in systems engineering lifecycle processes. Experience in agile development methodologies and familiarity with Unity or similar high-fidelity game engines. Proficient with MS Office and project management tools. Knowledge of defense acquisition procedures and strong communication and leadership skills. Security clearance eligibility is required. Preferred experience includes model-based systems engineering tools, relevant standards, and prior defense/aerospace programs involvement.
