Responsibilities
Design, implement, and ship production features for cloud platform services. Own well-defined project components from requirements gathering through deployment. Collaborate with senior engineers through pair programming and technical discussions. Participate in code reviews and assist in service operation, including on-call duties. Conduct incident investigations beyond existing runbooks and improve system resilience. Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency. Maintain clear communication about progress and obstacles within an asynchronous work model.
Qualifications
Practical experience programming in Go or a strong systems programming language with willingness to learn Go. Solid understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals such as Pods, Deployments, and Services. Familiarity with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Interest in distributed systems and high-scale service communication. Ability to work independently with guidance from senior engineers and collaborate effectively in a remote, asynchronous team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to code quality, testing, observability, and reliable operations.
