Responsibilities
Define and implement the architecture for AI-driven software development environments. Establish and enforce developer standards spanning local development, build/test processes, source control, and documentation. Develop AI tooling that integrates engineers and AI agents with development systems like source control, issue tracking, and CI/CD pipelines. Conduct technical pilots and create reference implementations to validate and promote architectural best practices. Measure and improve developer experience using productivity metrics and automated assessments. Facilitate adoption of tools and standards across engineering teams and contribute to strategic technical decisions within the Developer Experience function.
Qualifications
Significant experience as a senior-level software engineer with demonstrable hands-on contributions. Deep understanding of software build systems, test infrastructures, and development environments across multiple languages. Practical expertise in integrating modern AI-assisted development workflows and tools. Strong written communication skills to produce clear technical documentation and standards. Proven ability to autonomously prioritize and deliver measurable improvements. Experience building and managing internal developer platforms with voluntary team adoption is required. Additional knowledge of security, reliability, compliance engineering, or contributions to relevant open-source projects is a plus.
