This role involves providing expert support to complex military exercises focused on space operations at a NATO Joint Warfare Centre in Stavanger, Norway. The specialist will contribute to the design and execution of strategic and operational scenarios, ensuring realistic and coherent representation of space-related challenges to enhance NATO training objectives.

Responsibilities
Develop and integrate strategic and operational dilemmas related to space within military exercise scenarios. Coordinate exercise content and communications with multiple control cells to maintain scenario coherence. Produce detailed documentation including agendas, speaking notes, and minutes to support exercise development and knowledge sharing. Monitor participant activities, provide feedback, and adapt scenarios dynamically to meet training objectives. Serve as the focal point for space matters, advising training audiences and leadership during exercises. Participate in lessons learned processes to refine doctrine and tactics related to space operations. Support the incorporation of the latest NATO doctrine and tactics into exercise materials. Attend coordination meetings and collaborate closely with exercise control leadership throughout exercise cycles.
Qualifications
Minimum three years of recent experience in space operations at political-military or strategic levels within international defense environments, such as NATO or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, suitable for high-level staff briefings. Experience briefing senior leaders and decision makers in multinational defense contexts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and familiarity with NATO exercise management systems is advantageous. Hold a valid National or NATO Secret security clearance. Able to work on-site in Stavanger, Norway, with some travel to other NATO locations as necessary.
