Seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable distributed systems and core infrastructure supporting a large-scale care platform. Responsibilities
Design and develop foundational infrastructure and software libraries primarily in Python, supporting API services and event processing. Utilize Infrastructure as Code to create reproducible environments. Manage AWS-hosted applications including containerized and serverless services. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and ArgoCD. Implement monitoring and performance optimization via CloudWatch and DataDog. Scale infrastructure cost-effectively and establish standards for quality, security, and availability. Provide developer experience solutions and mentor engineering talent.
Qualifications
Minimum six years in platform engineering within a product-focused environment. Strong skills in Python application development and infrastructure automation. Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, and managing distributed systems. Proficient with CI/CD tooling and observability platforms. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills tailored for multiple audiences. Strategic, customer-focused mindset with experience in RPC architectures and familiarity with dynamic platform maturity challenges.
