Responsibilities
Develop and maintain core backend systems ensuring reliability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Design relational data models and APIs suited for large-scale distributed systems. Employ cloud technologies, primarily AWS, to support service-oriented architectures. Mentor and share knowledge to foster an inclusive and high-performing engineering culture. Identify and improve inefficiencies in engineering processes and product development workflows.
Qualifications
Significant experience in backend software engineering with a proven record in production environments. Strong skills in designing and working with relational databases at scale. Proficiency with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and service-oriented architectures. Experience in API design, distributed systems, and backend performance tuning. Skilled in Python or a similar backend language with readiness to learn Python. Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Typescript, and styling using Tailwind CSS. Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance development and deployment productivity. Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical partners.
