Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining various storage and backup systems, implementing new storage solutions, supporting customer teams, managing documentation, contributing to capacity planning, and providing advanced technical support (2nd and 3rd line). The consultant will actively drive the development of storage services and participate in internal and customer-focused projects, occasionally engaging in customer dialogues and sales-related discussions.
Qualifications
Candidates should have expertise in multiple storage technologies such as Block, File, and Object Storage and familiarity with storage systems like NetApp, HPE Primera/Alletra, Dell PowerScale, and IBM FlashSystem. Strong knowledge of backup solutions including Rubrik, Cohesity, and TSM is required, alongside proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux/Unix. Basic networking and hardware skills are expected. Advantageous qualifications include experience with VMware, scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python, and familiarity with storage network components.
