Job summary
This role involves managing the journey of new products from engineering through to commercial launch in a fast-growing hardware technology company based in Oslo. The Technical Project Manager will oversee product certification, documentation, handovers, and coordinate multiple departments to ensure timely product releases. The position requires technical understanding, project coordination skills, and familiarity with international product compliance standards.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the handover process from engineering to commercial, marketing, and logistics teams for new products, variants, and technical updates. Proactively identify and escalate potential project blockers. Maintain and update all product documentation including specifications, packaging, and defect reports. Collaborate closely with customer support and design teams to handle product feedback. Establish and support an effective delivery rhythm for the engineering team aligned with company objectives. Develop and maintain workflows for product certification, coordinating with testing labs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards. Facilitate communication and collaboration among engineering, supply chain, marketing, and customer support departments to achieve smooth product launches.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on engineering experience. Proven experience managing projects or coordinating activities across multiple teams. Sufficient technical expertise to communicate effectively with electronics and firmware engineers and translate technical details to non-technical stakeholders. Practical knowledge of product certification processes including CE, FCC, UKCA, GPSR, and related compliance requirements such as RoHS and REACH. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently within evolving company processes. Experience developing certification or release workflows or working with external testing laboratories is advantageous.
