Responsibilities
Own and manage documentation projects for assigned product areas, working closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure accuracy and relevance aligned with product releases. Develop deep product expertise by engaging with technologies directly and create user-centered documentation such as guides, references, and tutorials. Drive improvements in documentation clarity, structure, and completeness based on user feedback and analytics. Collaborate with other technical writers to share best practices and enhance documentation standards. Contribute to maintaining and evolving documentation tools, platforms, and workflows.
Qualifications
Minimum three years of technical writing experience with a portfolio that includes developer-focused documentation like user guides, API references, and tutorials. Proven capability to understand and test complex software products and environments. Hands-on experience with technologies such as Java, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and related developer tools. Familiarity with SaaS, on-premise, or enterprise software documentation. Skilled in docs-as-code practices, including Git, Markdown, and documentation frameworks like Docusaurus. Strong writing skills with the ability to tailor content to varied technical and business audiences. Experience or knowledge of software engineering and programming languages is an advantage. Ability to contribute to documentation standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
